چکیده

The use of fiber in cement materials is a promising and effective replacement for bar reinforcement. A wide range fiber-reinforced concretes based on composite binders with increased impact strength characteristics have been developed. synthesized composites included the binder made Portland cement, silica, carbonate additives. Basalt steel were used as fibers. nature influence composition manufacturing technology dynamic hardening coefficient has established, while growth these indicators achieved by creating denser interfacial transition zone between paste, aggregate, result improving homogeneity concrete mixture controlling consistency. Workability (slump flow up to 730 mm; spreading time diameter 50 cm 3 s) allow them be classified self-compacting mixtures. An increase values factor 5.5, almost 70% interaction fibers matrix composite, well absorption energy fiber, was revealed. formula describing effect loading rate refined. fracture processes obtained established: after initiation primary cracks, structure absorbs long time, inelastic (the onset cracking peak loads), large number secondary cracks appear.

Damage Simulation of High Performance Fiber Reinforced Concrete

The simulation of damage and failure in short fiber reinforced composites like high performance hybrid-fiber reinforced cement composites is still a challenging task, due to the richness of failure mechanisms introduced by fibers on the mesoscale of the material. Randomly oriented, hooked steel fibers, like the Baekaert Dramix® fibers, sustainable modify the macroscopic failure behavior of the ...

Microplane Model M6f for Fiber Reinforced Concrete

The new microplane model M6f for fiber reinforced concrete features several improvements over the earlier versions: (i) An explicit volumetric-deviatoric split to no split transition formulation in tension which eliminates spurious contraction under tension that the earlier models suffered; (ii) tension-compression load cycles are now correctly simulated using the loading/unloading rules prescr...

Experimental Strengthening of the Two-way Reinforced Concrete Slabs with High Performance Fiber Reinforced Cement Composites Prefabricated Sheets

Reinforced concrete structures need to be strengthened and retrofitted for various reasons, including errors during design and/or construction, so in most cases strengthening of structural elements is much more economical than rebuilding the structure. Using HPFRCC with tensile stiffening behavior has been developed to strengthen the concrete structures over the recent few years. In this paper,...

Feasibility of Reducing the Fiber Content in Ultra-High-Performance Fiber-Reinforced Concrete under Flexure

In this study, the flexural behavior of ultra-high-performance fiber-reinforced concrete (UHPFRC) is examined as a function of fiber length and volume fraction. Straight steel fiber with three different lengths (lf) of 13, 19.5, and 30 mm and four different volume fractions (vf) of 0.5%, 1.0%, 1.5%, and 2.0% are considered. Test results show that post-cracking flexural properties of UHPFRC, suc...
